The Ahtus Melder Camp is designated a horse camp. Located near accessible horse trails, The Melder camp is ideal for primitive camping while trail riding. The Boy Scout Camp is a remote primitive camping area that is set out of the way on the border of forest lands. There is easy access to designated OHV and horse trails.

The Ahtus Melder Equestrian Camp is set up very openly, leaving the campers to use their imagination on how best to camp. Melder Camp is very primitive, no water is available, no restroom facilities, please bring your trash out with you and enjoy your stay.
Boy Scout camp is designated for use by OHV and motorcycles camping. The facilities are similar to the Ahtus Melder camp in that no water is available, no trash receptacles, and no restroom facilities.
