The Longleaf Vista Interpretive Trail is in the Longleaf Vista Day-Use Complex. Access is limited to visitors due to the stair steps one will encounter on the trail. Interpretive signs are placed along the trail that describes various plant-life and trees native to the area. The trail is a 1.5 mile loop with beautiful views of the Kisatchie Hills Wilderness Area. Two separate spurs that lead hikers to a mesa gives visitors an added treat with 360 degree views.
