Back in business post-hurricane, Louisiana's "Big Easy", New Orleans, is once more Mardi Gras mecca, cultural center and architectural tease, with jazz and regional cuisine thrown into the mix for good measure.
Corney Lake is a beautiful 2,300 acre lake offering scenery from bald cypress and tupelo gum bottomlands to breezy pine hills. This is also an excellent area for fishing and waterfowl hunting. The Corney Lake Unit has three available boat launch areas, two for Corney Lake and one for Corney Bayou. The south shore boat launch has just been updated with paved parking and access facilities.
